Group Accountant

Group Accountant being hired for a global food production leader, offering natural food & beverage ingredients and solutions based in London (5 days in the office with flexibility).

Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Qualified accountant
• Solid understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and tax laws.
• Knowledge of multi-currency Group consolidations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience with SAP Consolidation software (preferred).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

A little more information about the responsibilities in the role:

• Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for UK entities within the Group.
• Ensure timely external audits and statutory filings of financial statements.
• Manage tax return calculations and filings in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for UK entities.
• Prepare technical accounting memos in line with IFRS standards and liaise with auditors to resolve any issues.
• Work closely with offshore accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries.
