Head of Financial Control

A Head of Financial Control required for leading Not-for-Profit organisation based in London!

Up to £70,000 - £75,000 + Benefits, dependant on experience

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Financial Control to join a well renowned Not for Profit organisation as they look to hire a Head of financial Control. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and refine their financial strategies and will be instrumental in guiding the financial operations during a time of growth and new system implementations.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring robust financial processes and controls along with supporting the overall financial performance, profitability and growth.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
• Experience in managing teams
• Experience in preparing statutory accounts
• Experience in producing management reports
• Experience in leading on external audits
• Hands on approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong excel and systems skills

• Lead the financial control team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Ensure robust financial governance and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the implementation and improvement of the new financial systems.
• Develop strategic financial insights to support leadership in decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and other key stakeholders.
• Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide technical support and leadership during audits.
