Overview:
We are looking for Functional Lead Business Analyst to join and play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and business transformation initiatives for a leading client in the construction industry. This role focuses on capturing, analysing, and mapping current ("As-Is") business processes, systems, and workflows to inform future state designs and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the documentation of "As-Is" operating models across various business functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and process owners to gather data and insights.
• Use tools such as Lucidchart to create clear and visually intuitive process maps.
• Identify and document inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Validate models with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with real-world operations.
• Capture all relevant functional requirements and constraints from the current state.
• Establish a framework for ongoing documentation and continuous process analysis.
• Support the transition from "As-Is" to "To-Be" states alongside business analysts and project teams.
• Mentor junior team members and guide their contributions to process documentation.
• Work closely with project management and IT to integrate insights into project delivery.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

Skills needed:

• Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in the construction or related industry.
• Strong background in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency with tools such as Lucidchart or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience leading or mentoring junior analysts is a plus.
