Finance Systems Accountant - Reporting & Reconciliations

Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim Finance Systems Accountant - Reporting & Reconciliation to join a PE Backed Support Services Business in South-West England on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (pro-rata) and is hybrid, working 2-3 days per week in their offices (every other week) and the rest remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and Oracle expertise to resolve reporting and reconciliation queries.
• Improve training and documentation to upskill offshore teams in reporting and reconciliation.
• Review and enhance end-to-end processes, including non-system reporting, aligned with best practices.
• Identify and close reporting gaps in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Deliver training to diverse stakeholders, including offshore teams, using various formats.
• Escalate issues, exceptions, or complexities promptly.
• Act as a project advocate and support additional tasks as needed.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong accounting background with deep Oracle systems knowledge.
• Skilled in reconciliation, problem-solving, and managing complex queries.
• Confident communicator across varied stakeholder groups.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven, solutions-focused approach.
• Comfortable challenging the norm to drive improvement.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ticketing systems.
• Strong team player who can influence across global, cross-functional teams.
• Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
